No Time Like Forever (Wardham #4)

20760972[1]By Zoe York

It started with a kiss…

Mari Beadie needed a boyfriend, and Chase Miller happened to be in the right place at the right time. The kiss that followed wasn’t necessary, strictly speaking, but it sure was hot.

Hot enough that when the tables are turned, Chase knows just who to ask to be his pretend girlfriend. Only this time, it’s not a one-time deal.

My review

The book is part of a series, but I haven’t read any of the other books before. I don’t think I missed anything by reading the book without context. I really liked the small town vibe of the book. Chase used to be a NHL player but he’s quite down to earth, Mari works as a barkeeper to pay the bills until she gets a breakthrough as a musician, but I feel she’s a person who likes being around people and is good with people. The book was a very satisfying read, I really recommend it!
